SIEGE BRAKE PTY LTD (ABN 38 652 241 480), referred to here as SiegeBrake, we, us or our, is committed to handling personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. This policy explains what we collect through this website, why, and what your choices are.

What we collect and why.

If you use our contact form, we collect the name, email address, organisation and message you provide, so we can respond to your enquiry. The form is processed by Formspree, which also applies spam filtering to the submission.

If you book a call, our scheduling provider Cal.com collects the details you enter (name, email address, organisation and your answers to the booking questions) so the call can be arranged and confirmed. Booking may require you to verify your email address.

If you use the website chat, messages and any contact details you share are processed by tawk.to so we can respond. The chat widget sets cookies needed for the conversation to function.

Our website is served through Cloudflare, which processes technical information such as IP addresses for security, performance and aggregate analytics purposes. We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not sell personal information to anyone.

Who else handles your information.

The providers above (Formspree, Cal.com, tawk.to and Cloudflare) process data on infrastructure that may be located overseas, including in the United States. Each provider publishes its own privacy documentation, and we recommend reviewing it if this matters to you. We disclose personal information only to run this website and respond to you, or where the law requires it.

Retention, access and correction.

We keep enquiry and booking information for as long as needed to handle the matter and meet our legal obligations, then dispose of it securely. You can ask us at any time what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where the law allows. Get in touch via the contact form and we will respond promptly.

Complaints.

If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, contact us first and we will work to put it right. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
